Our next Saturday League event centre is based in the well know Logie Steading near Forres.Logie Steading is about 6 miles south of Forres, off the Grantown Road. Look out for the big Brown Sign!
Good news is the event is still going ahead.
Logie, like lots of other places in Moray today (Friday), experienced heavy snow showers and because of this most parts of the forest are now covered in a thick layer of snow.
The light green course has been modified slightly to allow for the weather effects on the area. We now advise you NOT to use the path next to the river for your safety. The yellow and orange courses should be fine but please be aware that paths may be slippery and some could be fairly indistinct.
The forecast is for sunshine but cold, and due to the combination of underlying snow and fairly low temperatures in the morning, we highly recommend an extra layer or cagoule is worn or carried.
We are not using strict start times, you may start on the next free minute for your course, but aim to arrive to suit the start time you chose. Please remember to maintain the required social distancing at the start, when punching and at download.
Hired dibbers and Yellow maps should be collected from registration, Orange and Light Green maps will be at the start, as well as loose control descriptions.
Thank you for your understanding and see you tomorrow,
Michael - Planner
David - Organiser
