Hosted in conjunction with Outfit Moray. Outfit Moray is organising an Adventure by the Sea. This is a three-day (27-29 March 2026) celebration of Moray’s remarkable coastline - bringing together families, young people, and the wider community through adventure, learning, and connection with the sea. Rooted in outdoor activity, environmental stewardship, and shared experience, the weekend invites people of all ages to explore, learn, and care for the coast that shapes our region.
As part of the three-day outdoor activity, there will be a hands-on outdoor adventure day on Saturday 28 March 2026 for families and the community, based at Roseisle Forest and its Beach. This will include orienteering in Roseisle Forest being organised by Rob Parkinson. Participants will rotate through:
- Orienteering in the coastal forest
- Mountain biking on forest trails
- Beach clean or forest litter pick, contributing directly to coastal care
A shared barbecue lunch brings everyone together before groups switch activities in the afternoon.
