Quarry Wood - So the last event here was cancelled by COVID but we couldn't let Peter McLuckie's courses be missed. With thanks to Spynie Kirk for use of their parking.

ENTRIES ARE CLOSED.  There will be NO ENTRY ON THE DAY.  

Start Blocks can be selected by you on SI Entries before the event and competitors are maintain social distancing before, during and after their run.  Please proceed to the start no more than 10 minutes before their start time.

Directions and Parking

From Elgin take the B9012 northwards from Elgin or the same road south from Duffus.  Near Quarry Wood take the signposted road towards Spynie.  The Kirk can be found on the northern side of the road.  Please park carefully and do not drive/ park on the grass.

Registration and Download will be situated in the Spynie Kirk Car Park.

Terrain

Quarry Wood is a steep sided forested hill with pockets of very complex terrain due to old quarry workings. Runnability varies from very fast to some quite slow sections with heather underfoot.
